Terms and Conditions
Welcome to WaveTrax Studios. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, products, software (including OBSIDIAN and all audio plugins), subscriptions, and services.
By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

1. Account Registration
To access purchased plugins, download the WaveTrax Portal, or manage a WaveTrax Pass subscription, you must register for an account.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. Software License and Intellectual Property
When you purchase a plugin or subscribe to WaveTrax Pass, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software for your personal or professional music production.
Plugin and OBSIDIAN orders placed as pre-sales are charged at the discounted pre-sale price shown at checkout. These pre-sale products and their downloads will be made available on November 1, 2026. Availability is planned for Windows and macOS. Supported plugin formats are VST3 and AAX on supported systems, and AU on macOS.
All software, audio processing algorithms, visual interfaces, and trademarks (including OBSIDIAN and WaveTrax) remain the exclusive property of WaveTrax Studios. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or redistribute our software without explicit permission.
- You may install your licensed software on up to 3 personal devices simultaneously.
- Audio generated using our AI models (Lyria) is royalty-free and may be used in commercial releases.
- Reselling or transferring your license to a third party is strictly prohibited.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
WaveTrax Pass (Creator or Pro-Ducer) is billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) depending on your selection at checkout.
By starting a subscription, you authorize us to charge your provided payment method automatically on your renewal date.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
We want you to be completely satisfied with your WaveTrax experience. Our refund and cancellation policy is as follows:
Perpetual Plugin Purchases
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all individual plugin purchases. If you are not satisfied, contact support within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Upon refund, your license will be deactivated.
WaveTrax Pass Subscriptions
You may cancel your WaveTrax Pass subscription at any time through your Profile dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Subscription payments are non-refundable, except where required by law. If you forget to cancel before a renewal, we offer a 48-hour grace period to request a refund for the renewed cycle.
Credit Packs
Unused AI credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. Purchased credit packs are non-refundable once any of the credits have been utilized.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
Our software and services are provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall WaveTrax Studios be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or audio files, arising from your use of our software.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
